Suspect Admits Robbing Krystal

A 21-year-old Savannah man has admitted robbing a restaurant Friday night after losing a foot chase with Southside Precinct officers.

Theodis Kendrell Davis, of the100 block of McIntyre Street, was apprehended after employees of Krystal at 10003 Abercorn Street pointed him out to officers responding to the 5:25 p.m. robbery call. He has been charged with armed robbery.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police were called after he walked into the restaurant, produced a gun, and robbed employees.

Officers chased him down Television Circle and apprehended him, then found the money, a BB pistol, and the cap and gloves he wore in the robbery along the route in which he ran.
