New York City's Last Payphone Is Removed

Remember pay phones? Well, maybe not. But if you do, and look back at them, the thought of picking up a reciever that thousands of people or maybe millions have use is kind of, well...disugsting, right? But pay phones do play a part in the history of our nation and heck, the world. And songs! C'mon. Lots of songs have been written with reference to pay phones in the lyrics. Maroon 5 even named a song after them.

Now in New York City, they have removed the last remaining pay phone. It's being donated to The Museum Of NYC. Check out the twitter video to see it being hauled away. Honestly, Adam Lavine should have been there for this.
