_ In a heartwarming tale of canine intelligence and loyalty, a Detroit area woman, Melissa Fickel, experienced a rollercoaster of emotions following a car crash that led her beloved pit bull mix, Aries, to flee the scene in search of help. Adopted in 2020, Aries has always been quick to learn tricks and enjoys park visits. The accident occurred while they were en route to a local park, causing Aries to panic and leap from the car window. Despite fears of the worst, Aries demonstrated her remarkable intelligence by navigating over a mile to Hounds Town Metro Detroit, a familiar doggy daycare. Recognizing Aries immediately, the daycare’s owner and his team were astonished to see her at their doorstep, safe but for a small cut on her paw.
