Saturday, a California man died after being struck by a car during a George Floyd protest.
The man was identified as Robert Forbes. Forbes passed away Saturday, three days after he was hit by a car in Bakersfield.
Police investigated the incident and say he was struck on accident and the driver pulled over and waited for help to arrive. Forbes' nephew spoke with KGET and said he believes the driver intentionally hit his uncle.
According to police, a formal investigation is underway.
