Listen To Pharrell's New Song In Honor Of, Erm, Chinese E-Commerce

Last Saturday served as China's biggest online shopping extravaganza and Internet giant Alibaba Group welcomed several stars to a four-hour televised broadcast leading up to the online shopping midnight mark, including Pharrell, who performed with Chinese-Canadian megastar Kris Wu, and their duet called "Double Eleven Day" is rather interesting, to say the least.

"Double Eleven Day" happens to be the official name of the Alibaba shopping event since it occurs on November 11 and it's all about the influence of China's consumer market. It was written by the pair, but the lyrics to the song are the most telling part of the whole story.  "You know the world's watching wishing they could participate/ There's gonna be a lot of people in the world staying up late/ Double Eleven day," Pharrell sings during the midtempo number, before Wu shouts out some love for China.
