GULF OIL SPILL STILL LEAKING OVER 14 YEARS LATER

A new federal study as revealed that 14 years after Hurricane Ivan hit off the coast of Louisiana in 2004, it's still leaking into the Gulf of Mexico. In fact, it's leaking over 4,500 gallons into the crystal blue waters of the Gulf per day according to The NOAA. However, other independent studies have it leaking anywhere between 9,000 to a whopping 70,000 gallons a day.. The platform is about 12 miles off the coast and fell after an underwater mudslide was caused by the hurricane. The leakage was first notice by scientists studying the 2010 deep Water Horizon oil spill.
