A Beaufort man is super lucky. His best friend Curly saved his life. At about 1am, Brian Rand's home was engulfed in flames and smoke. That's when Curly woke him up by pushing him several times with his nose. They were both able to get out of the house just in time to call 911. Unfortunately Brian and Curly lost almost everything in the fire. Brian told WFMY-TV that when he went looking for a dog, we was looking for something small. He decided on the 70lb Curly instead. Turns out it was the best decision he aver made,
