I laughed when I saw this the other night during Houston's rout of the Washington National's in Game 5. A Nationals fan holding two Bud Light Beers holds on the to beers rather than catch a home run hit by Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros came right at him. I laughed, the Fox Sports guys laughed and now Bud Light Guy is going to Game 6 in Houston courtesy of Bud Light. Bud Light tweeted the clip Sunday, adding, "This man is a hero. Twitter please figure out who this guy is so we can reward him." The next day, came an update: "We are in contact with our hero. He’s wearing this beauty to Game 6." Included in the tweet was a picture of a T-shirt with an artist's rendering of a double-fisting Adams as the ball hits his chest, with the text: "Always save the beers." So, who is this "hero?" His name is Jeff Adams and he told the Washington Post his Little League coach "taught me how to put my chest in front of a ball and let it bounce in front of me" back in his catcher days. "So put my chest in front of it, right? And I angled down. Sure enough, hit me right in the chest. Went straight down. And I got it."
