The Washing Nationals fans were partying after that come from behind win to take game 7 of the World Series. The Nationals defeated the Astros in Houston, 6-2, for its first World Series Championship in franchise history. Following the game, Washington's Fox 5 was covering reactions from fans who had been watching the game on a giant screen TV at National's Park in DC. Standing in the middle of rabid Nationals fans, reporter Sue Platka asks a fan for his reaction to the win. The fan replied, “I think this is huge for D.C.,” the unnamed fan said on Fox 5, the Washington Fox station. “D.C. needed this." Then came his additional commentary on Trump, and on Fox of all stations.
