Sorry, 90210 lovers. BH90210 is not being renewed for a second season.

On Thursday (November 7), Fox announced its Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot would not be returning following its limited run over the summer. Even with reprisals from original cast members Tori Spelling,Ā Ian Ziering,Ā Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Carteris, Jennie Garth,Ā Jason Priestley, and Shannen Doherty, the six-episode project is all fans will be getting going forward.

"We are so proud to have reunited in a very special summer event one of the networkā€™s legacy series and casts withĀ 90210Ā fans across the country," Fox said in a statement.Ā "Profound thanks to and respect for Brian, Gabrielle, Ian, Jason, Jennie, Shannen and Tori, who, along with the entire crew and everyone at Fox andĀ CBS Television Studios, poured their hearts and souls into this truly inventive and nostalgic revival."

As Us Weekly pointed out, Green was the first to hint at the unfortunate news on Instagram when responding to questions about a possible second season, to which he replied, ā€œNo more. Sorry.ā€ He also alluded to the showā€™s end when the 46-year-old shared a send-off photo of the Peach Pit, writing, ā€œWhat a fun trip back. Thanks to the fans.ā€

When speaking about the potential for Season 2 with Entertainment Tonight in September, Spelling and Garth expressed hopes of fans being able to ā€œget to see ā€¦ more of their beloved characters.ā€

Fellow Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, the late Luke Perry, was not signed on for the reboot before his death in March at aged 52 following a massive stroke.
