Fort Myers police form line of hearts with patrol cars to salute front line

Last Thursday, officers at the Fort Myers Police Department sent a loving message to health care workers on the front line at Lee Health.

They parked 14 police cruisers in the shape of a heart outside of the hospital and held signs that read "FMPD thanks you,"

The department shared aerial photos of the event on Facebook saying, “We appreciate each of the hard-working medical professionals and wanted to simply say 'Thank You,'”
