Walmart staff found not wearing masks after 23 test positive for COVID

A Walmart in Worcester, Massachusetts has been ordered to close down after 23 employees tested positive for the coronavirus over the past three and a half weeks. The store has been issued a cease and desist order by the city of Worcester following the staff members results.

The location was inspected by City of Worcester Division of Public Health officials on the 28th of this month and they found that no staff members or customers had been wearing protective equipment such as masks or gloves.

Worcester City Manager Edward Augustus said "The Walmart is now closed and it will not be allowed to reopen until it is professionally cleaned."

The store has 400 employees, all of which will be required to test for COVID-19 or be retested before the store can open again.
