3 other cops charged in George Floyd death, other officer’s charge upgraded

According to court records, today the three other Minneapolis police officers involved in the death of George Floyd have been criminally charged.

Derek Chauvin, the fourth officer invlolved and charged with third-degree-murder will now be charged with second-degree-murder.

The former cops, Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng, and Thomas Lane have been charged with aiding and abetting murder after assisted Chauvin in arresting George Floyd on Memorial Day after suspecting that Floyd had passed a counterfeit bill.
