Two Texas men use CPR to revive baby deer

Two men jumped to the rescue of a baby deer that had drowned in a lake and managed to revive it.

Brian Ballard and his wife, Liz Ballard were on a tubing trip at Lake Tyler when they stumbled upon a lifeless fawn under the water.

Brian picked up the deer, put it on his boat, and began doing compressions. A bystander, Ashton Byrd, came over to help.

They began blowing into the fawn's mouth and nose for a few minutes until the fawn gained consiousness and stood up. The deer has since been taken to a wildlife rehabilitation organization.

Brian's wife, Liz recorded the incident and later posted it to Facebook where it has been viewed over eighty-eight thousand times.
