Walmart has removed "All Lives Matter" merchandise from their website after receiving backlash for T-shirts featuring variations of the "Black Lives Matter" slogan.
The retailer did not remover other variations of the slogan like "Irish Lives Matter," "Blue Lives Matter" and " Homeless Lives Matter".
In a statement Walmart said, "We fundamentally believe all lives do matter and every individual deserves respect,'' and "However, as we listened, we came to understand that the way some, but not all, people are using the phrase 'All Lives Matter' in the current environment intentionally minimized the focus on the painful reality of racial inequity."
The products are being offered by third-party sellers
