How long does it take for the average woman to get pregnant? Pop culture, sex ed classes and parents have taught us that having unprotected sex will ALWAYS get us pregnant. This study says that getting pregnant is not all that easy.
I'm not advocating that you let go of the reigns and have unprotected sex with your activity. There is always that chance of couples NOT being anywhere close to being a parent become one and not to mention the spread of disease... no one wants that either.
Nearly 1,200 parents in a survey say that it took an average number of 78 sex sessions to finally make a baby. (Who really counts that anyway?) If you take the 78 times, that took the average couple 6 times a month, that means they averaged 13 times a month.
As I mentioned earlier, 78 is just an average. Some women can get pregnant on the first try while others never do.
