Bar Is Offering Free Drinks For Women Based On Their Weight

Bars are always looking for new ways to get females in the door and Fusion Club in Dubai is making headlines for its new promo to entice the ladies. They’re offering women free drinks based on how much they weigh. They’re promoting that “it’s good to gain weight” because the more you weigh, the more money you get for free drinks.
To cash in, women who visit Fusion Club have the option of stepping on a scale at the entrance or just writing down their weight on a piece of paper and giving it to the bartender. They’re giving women one Emirati dirham (the currency of the United Arab Emirates) in free drinks for every kilo they weigh. And with one dollar equal to $3.67 in Dubai’s money, a woman who weighs 150-pounds would get 68 dirhams in freebies, which is about 18.50 in U.S dollars.
Anil Kumar,a spokesman for Fusion Club, explains, “We wanted the ladies to surprise their partners and friends that it’s good to gain weight.” While not everyone may be thrilled with the promo, the club says the response has been so positive that they’ve extended the deal through the end of the year.
