Jay-Z and BeyoncĂ©âs six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter is one sophisticated kid. The tot sat alongside her parents at an art auction in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 17, and bid $19,000 on a painting.
The auction was held at the 2018 Wearable Art Gala and was organized by BeyoncĂ©âs mother, Tina Knowles and her husband, Richard Lawson, and raised money for the WACO Theater Center and also honored Jay-Zâs mother, Gloria Carter, for her humanitarian work with the Shawn Carter Foundation.
In a video posted to a fan account's social media, Blue Ivy can be seen sitting between her two parents and at first raising her paddle to bid $17K on the acrylic painting. After another bidder went for $18K, Blue raised her paddle. Jay-Z could be seen hilariously trying to press her hand down and the crowd laughed.
Auction host Star Jones then joked that Blue was working on her art collection. BeyoncĂ©âs mini-me ended up losing out on the piece to Tyler Perry who bid $20K.
What a legend.
