1 arrested following Glynn County auto break in

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) has arrested one individual following reports of a man breaking into a car.

The arrest was made after two GCPD officers responded to a report of a person who had smashed the window of a vehicle on Settlers Cove and stole property from inside the vehicle.

The victim described the person and while patrolling the area an officer identified a man who matched the description.

The man, Chad Weston, was taken into custody and was positively identified by the victim of the auto break-in. Additional evidence was also found that linked Weston to the scene.

Weston is facing felony Theft Entering Auto charges.
