SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Savannah Fire Department (SFD) firefighters responded to a fire that has displaced several residents on Friday.
Firefighters responded to the Marsh Cove Apartment Complex around 2:30 p.m., officials said.
Red Cross is helping the 18 displaced residents. They were displaced because the power needed to be turned off due to the fire.
There were no injuries or additional apartments damaged, Savannah Fire said.
A woman who lives in the apartment said that her family was home at the time of the fire. She said they believe the fire was started by an air fryer malfunction.
