3 sought for questioning in Chatham County financial crime case

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Police are hoping the public can help identify a group of individuals wanted for questioning in a financial crime case.

The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) on Jan. 1 responded to a report of an entering auto on Sugar Mill Road.

Later that day, CCPD said a credit card taken during the entering auto incident was used to make a purchase at the Walmart on Abercorn Street.

Detectives have since released a photo of three individuals they hope to identify so they can question them about the case.

Anyone with information on the individuals is asked to contact police. CCPD's non-emergency number is 912-652-6500 and their tip reporting form is available here. They also have an app where information can be sent.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 912-234-2020 and could qualify for a cash reward.
