CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - Four people are in custody after a manhunt in Candler County.
The incident unfolded Sunday morning when the Georgia State Patrol pursued a vehicle on Interstate 16 entering Candler County.
The sheriff's office said their deputies were notified about the pursuit and responded to assist.
The chase ended near mile markers 95 and 96 when four people ran away from the vehicle and law enforcement.

The Candler County Sheriff's Office then posted on social media notifying the public that they were searching for the suspects who were believed to be armed.
"If you see someone matching this description, do not approach them. Please call 911 immediately," the sheriff's office said.
Meanwhile, Candler County deployed its Special Response Team, using drones and K-9s, in collaboration with partner agencies.
Shortly after 5 p.m., the Candler County Sheriff's Office confirmed all four individuals were in custody.
At least one gun was recovered and the vehicle was later confirmed to be stolen from another state.
No word yet on what charges the individuals face.
