BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — A Bryan County gun shop owner has been indicted for allegedly manufacturing a firearm without a license.
Willie Puskas was indicted by a grand jury on the federal charge on Feb. 4. As part of the indictment, Puskas will have to surrender more than three dozen rifles, machine guns and firearm parts.
Puskas is the owner of Puskas Firearms Innovations, LLC. in Richmond Hill.
Puskas spoke with WSAV two years ago about firearm manufactures receiving criticism following the mass shooting in Uvalde, Tx.
“It’s not the manufacturers that are causing the crimes, it’s the criminals causing the crimes," Puskas said. " Honestly, if people want to do harm, they’re going to do harm, whether it’s guns, knives, axes, shovels, U-Haul vehicles, anything of the such.”
