SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Police are looking for a person of interest in a card theft case.
The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) released an image on Wednesday of the person detectives are working to identify and locate.
CCPD said the case unfolded on Tuesday, Nov. 26, around 8 p.m. when officers were called to a report of an entering auto in the 7300 block of Skidaway Road.

A short time later, the stolen card was used at a Montgomery Crossroads gas station, officials said.

- CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 (where tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward)
Officials said it's important to remember the following advice during the holidays, as well as the rest of the year:
- Your vehicle should be locked at all times and at all locations. This includes your driveway.
- Store any items of value out of sight in the locked vehicle, preferably in the trunk. This is especially important in the case of firearms, which should never be left in view or in an unlocked vehicle.
- Never leave spare keys inside a vehicle.
- Never leave your vehicle unattended while it is running – even for a minute.
