COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) - The Colleton County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) is investigating a shooting that occurred over the weekend and left two people injured.
CCSO identified a suspect vehicle on Monday. They said that they believe the vehicle is related to the incident that happened Saturday night and a shooting that occurred Sunday night Walterboro.

On Dec. 21, 2024, just before 10 p.m., the CCSO 911 Center received multiple reports of a drive-by shooting in the 9600 block of Bells Highway in Ruffin, SC.
While the callers provided limited information, they indicated that two victims with gunshot wounds were being transported to a nearby hospital by private vehicles. One of the victims, an 18-year-old, sustained critical injuries, while another adult victim had minor injuries.
According to reports, witnesses at a private party, at what appears to be the target residence, reported that the gunshots originated from a small black sedan that was stopped on Bells Highway. Evidence from the scene showed individuals at the party may have returned fire. The suspect vehicle fled the area in an unknown direction, and it may or may not have been struck by gunfire.
