ST. SIMON'S ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — Glynn County Fire Department (GCFD) is currently battling a house fire in Gould’s Inlet East Beach area of St. Simon's Island.
A local resident shared a photo of the massive flames and smoke plumes on the island.
According to a local news source, GCFD crews were called to respond to the scene just after 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17.
The home is on the corner of Bruce Drive and 14th Street. There is sizeable first responder presence on scene in the area.
