BEAUFORT, S.C. – The Beaufort Police Department is conducting an investigation into a suspicious death at the Garden Oaks Apartment Complex, located at 2000 Salem Road.
On December 30, 2024, at approximately 11:05 a.m., officers were dispatched to the apartment complex following a report of suspicious activity. A concerned relative of the victim contacted the authorities after being unable to reach the individual.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased adult male. This is an active investigation, and the Beaufort Police Department is working diligently to gather all pertinent information.
