SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- Deep Center has opened up applications for the 2025 Youth Summit, happening Saturday, March 2, 2025. This is a free event for young people 13-18 interested in having conversations about what meaningful learning means to them and to explore what we can learn from and teach each other. The day will include skill demonstrations and roundtable conversations led by young people, and plenty of time to get to know each other.
The Youth Summit was planned by Deep Center’s Youth Action Research Team (ART) to build a
stronger sense of community with other young people in the area. The capstone event offers an opportunity for your voice to be heard and to be part of conversations that explore what topics or skills are meaningful to you, what young people can teach each other, and how learning - inside and outside of school - could be set up to be inclusive and encourage real curiosity.
The 2025 Deep Center Youth Summit is Saturday, March 2, 2025, at the John Delaware Community Center (1815 Lincoln Street, Savannah, GA 31401).
