POOLER, Ga. (WSAV) - The Pooler Police Department (PPD) performed an impromptu bunny rescue at a motel on Wednesday.

According to PPD's Facebook page, Officer Smith responded to and collected an abandoned bunny left in one of the rooms.
The rabbit will now be known as "Sergeant Hop To It" and, as PPD put it, will "provide a soft touch to those in need."
