TOOMBS COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – A donkey named Gus is back home thanks to first responders in Toombs County.
"The donkey decided it was a beautiful day to take a little stroll beyond his pen," the Toombs County Sheriff's Office posted online Sunday.
Santa makes a stop at 7th Mile Farm in Bulloch County
Deputies Perez and Colbert, along with Josh Dixon from Toombs County Fire, helped wrangle the donkey, the sheriff's office said.
Officials said with their help, Gus made it back safely to his pasture.
