SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A local law firm is offering free rides home this New Year's Eve.
Farah & Farah is giving away thousands of $50 Uber credits in Georgia and Florida so you can safely enjoy the festivities.
"We do see victims, people who are injured by drivers who are under the influence. We see that more than you would think," said Chuck Farah, a senior partner at the personal injury law firm.
"We felt like this is something that we could give back to the community by trying to prevent this from happening," he added.

The program is now in its ninth year, and Farah & Farah says it's helped more than 12,000 partygoers get home safely.
"It's 12,000 people and that's great, but we're looking to increase that," Farah said, "because we want more people to take advantage of this offer of this ability to be able to drive home safely so you can be at home on New Year's Day watching all the football games with your loved ones instead of the alternative."
