TATTNAIL COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - A house fire in Tattnal County required multiple fire units to fully extinguish.
On Saturday, Tattnall County Fire, Reidsville Fire Department, Roger's State Prison Fire, Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office and Tattnall County EMS were all dispatched to a structure fire on Joe Kennedy Road.
When units arrived, they found a fully engulfed home.

At that time, the Collins Fire Department, Evans County Fire, and Claxton Fire Department were called in to assist with the water shuttle.
The resident was not injured but unfortunately, his pets died in the fire.
The home is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
