SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - NFL Hall of Famer and former Chicago Bear Mike Singletary will be coming to Savannah later this week to visit with local law enforcement.
The visit is a part of an effort to help support the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE)’s / National Child ID Program Minority
and Missing initiative.
The event will be taking place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. It will be immediately after Mayor Johnson's weekly press conference.

According to NOBLE over 350,000 children are reported missing each year: 1,000 children every day. Black, Hispanic, and multiracial children represent nearly 60% of all missing children. Black females (11-21) are 4x more likely to go missing than their white counterparts.
