SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Georgia's early voting has nearly reached 50% total active voter turnout.
According to the Secretary of State's vote tracking page, turnout as of 3:45 p.m. Thursday, October 31, has reached 49.9%. This accounts for over 3.6 million votes that have been cast. There are 7.2 million active voters in Georgia.
Gabriel Sterling, the State Voting Implementation Manager, commemorated the upcoming achievement on his X (formerly Twitter) account just before noon.

Early voting ends on Friday, November 1. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
