BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WSAV) – A man is in custody after allegedly running away from police early Thursday morning.
Kenneth Vonhollen, 46, faces multiple charges including fleeing an officer.
The incident spanned two counties, starting when a Glynn County police officer pulled over Vonhollen for a traffic violation on Norwich Street. Officials said when the officer told Vonhollen to exit the vehicle, he drove away instead.
As Vonhollen was allegedly speeding away on GA 27, leading to GA 99 and then GA 32 in neighboring Brantley County, other Glynn County officers and deputies from Brantley County became involved in the pursuit.
