SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - A GoFundMe has been launched for the family of Boris Yusupov, the pilot who perished when his plane crashed in Savannah on Sunday.
Yusupov, from Miami, Fl., and a passenger were flying a small plane when it crashed on East 66 Street near Habersham. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 10:20 p.m. The passenger experienced minor injuries.
Organizer Nick Zorin remembers him:
"Boris was an exceptionally experienced pilot who had flown around the world, sharing his passion for aviation with everyone he met."
