SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Governor Tim Walz spoke during a rally this morning. Walz is in Savannah to encourage residents to vote early and in person for their campaign.
The Get Out the Vote event ran from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Victory North. Walz spoke about Georgia's importance in the election and the distinctions between Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump at the top of the ticket.
"This thing is tied, and you know it," Walz said. "Two minutes left on the clock. The good news is we've got the damn ball. We're driving that thing down the field, we've got the best quarterback in Kamala Harris and the team in this room is the team to win."
With fewer than 10 days until the election, Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Walz aren't wasting a second reminding voters to get out and make their voices heard in this election.
Former President Donald Trump held a campaign rally Monday night in Atlanta at the McCamish Pavilion.
