SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Highway 204 at Interstate 95 Tuesday night.
The current status of the investigation has determined that the vehicle at fault, a 2016 Toyota Sedan, was attempting to turn left onto I-95 Northbound and turned into the path of a 2024 GMC Sierra that was traveling west on GA 204.
The Chatham County Police Department originally stated on X Tuesday evening that the lanes had closed as a result of the accident.
The driver at fault was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
