SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — An annual tradition has returned to Daffin Park in Savannah, the Christmas tree sale by the Savannah Lions Club.
The Lions Club has 575 trees for you to consider this year. They have set up shop near the tennis courts, on the Victory Drive side of the park.
On Friday, Islands High School athletes volunteered to help get the lot set up.
This is a fundraiser that goes back to the 1970s and this will be their 47th year of selling trees to support the Savannah community. The proceeds go to the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision.
