VIDALIA, Ga. (WSAV) — The Toombs County Grand Jury has convicted a Mount Vernon man involved in the 2024 murder of a man, a woman and her unborn child.
In March of last year, Iesha Wicker, 18, and Justin Godfrey, 23, were found with fatal gunshot wounds. Several days later, it was determined that Wicker was pregnant, leading to the death of her unborn child.
The Vidalia Police Department (VPD) announced three arrests of those who are believed to be involved in the deadly shooting: Kison Latrell King, of McRae, Ga.; Jaquan Quashon Jerome Jordan, of Mount Vernon, Ga., and Patrick Cornelius Hunt, of Mount Vernon, Ga.
Last week, the jury found Hunt guilty of two counts of malice murder, feticide and other charges.
