Longhorn Steakhouse making changes to refocus brand

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- If you like dining at Longhorn Steakhouse, don't expect to see any outside advertising any time soon. And that's a good thing.

As part of rebranding, a majority of the restaurant chain's commercials, billboards, and sponsorships have been eliminated in favor of investing that money into larger portions and more food on your plate.

Longhorn's parent company and its CEO say they can do this thanks to their strong advertising campaigns of the past -- even pre-dating COVID. They claim that success is being passed along to the customer.

There are several Longhorn Steakhouse locations in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.
