SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a triple shooting that happened Friday morning, the Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) said.
Forty-two-year-old Junior Thomas Babcock is accused of killing his parents, Daniel and Connie Babcock, and his 14-year-old son, LJ Babcock.
Officers were dispatched to the home in the 200 block of Quacco Trail around 9 a.m.
On the scene, they found the three victims deceased inside the residence from apparent gunshot wounds, and detectives took Junior Babcock into custody shortly after, CCPD said.

The investigation is active and ongoing, but CCPD said that detectives do not anticipate any additional arrests in this case.
"Daniel and Connie Babcock's greatest desire was to honor the Lord by loving their family and helping others," said Leon McBride, the victims' son-in-law.
"LJ Babcock loved to be outdoors. Fishing was his greatest passion," McBride said, adding, "His smile was infectious. The lives of his friends, family and schoolmates will forever be changed by his presence and now by his absence."
