EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - A man was arrested with over 200 grams of cocaine, an Effingham County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) representative said.
The ECSO Drug Suppression Unit arrested Domminick Robbins on Jan. 15 after a pursuit and foot chase, an official said on Wednesday.
During a traffic stop, Robbins attempted to leave, and officers pursued him until he crashed on Go-Cart Road. ECSO said that after a brief foot chase, he was taken into custody and law enforcement found 253 grams of cocaine.
Investigators also seized $27,821 in cash, ECSO said.
Robbins is being charged with fleeing, trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, failure to stop and reckless driving.
