Man charged with murder turns himself in: Beaufort Police

BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) — A man has turned himself into the Columbia Police Department (CPD) in connection to the death of a 26-year-old.

Derrick Lamonte Singleton Jr. turned himself in on Feb. 21, police said. He is charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, criminal conspiracy and discharging a firearm into a vehicle.

His charged are in connection with the Feb. 11 homicide of Tahir Ademola Bailey, police said.
