SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A sentencing date has been set for a 20-year-old man after a Chatham County jury found him guilty of murdering a 16-year-old.
Jamary Isaiah Brown, of Savannah, Georgia, was found guilty of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, cruelty to children in the first degree and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the Chatham County District Attorney’s (DA) Office said.
The charges stem from the Dec. 6, 2021, shooting at Chatham City Apartments where Brown shot and killed 16-year-old Amarian Robinson.
He will appear in court Tuesday morning for sentencing in front of Judge Tammy Stokes.
