SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Savannah Mayor Van Johnson has been named among the "100 Most Influential Georgians" list by Georgia Trends Magazine for the fourth year in a row.
Mayor Johnson, who has held the position since 2020, joins the likes of Governor Brian Kemp, Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones and Augusta Mayor Garnett Johnson.
"Now in his second term, Johnson leads a city experiencing both the opportunities and challenges of rapid growth," read the magazine.
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens was declared "Georgian of the Year" by the publication, which covers Georgia politics and business.
Mayor Johnson responded to the recognition on Facebook:
