SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham County Sheriff's Office and Operation New Hope are hosting a Pup Cup Party where the community can meet their dogs in training.
It's scheduled for Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon at the Operation New Hope building (back of the complex at 1050 Carl Griffin Drive).
It's a "tail-wagging Coffee Hour" where you can grab coffee for yourself and share a special goody cup with the pups.

The dogs are currently training with their handlers at the Chatham County Detention Center who are working toward their Kennel Tech Certificates.
If you're looking for a new furry best friend, some adoptable dogs are looking for their fur-ever homes.
Operation New Hope pairs inmates with unadoptable dogs to help rehabilitate detainees and housetrain the pups at the same time.
You can RSVP to the Pup Cup Party by emailing jrmesser@chathamcounty.org.
