Savannah Branch NAACP to hold Membership and Mass Meeting

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Savannah Branch NAACP will hold its General Membership and Mass Meeting at First African Baptist Church with Reverend Thurmond Tillman.

The meeting will take place on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. on 23 Montgomery Street.

The Branch’s Nominating Committee will present a written report to the membership and an Election Supervisory Committee will be elected at the October Meeting. The Savannah Branch NAACP will hold its election of officers and at-large members of the executive committee in November.

This meeting is open to the public as observers.

Immediately following the Membership meeting, there will be a Get-Out-The-Vote event featuring a panel discussion moderated by Roy Jackson, the Branch Political Action Committee Chairman.
