SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — The Screven County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) is actively seeking a man accused of luring children into his van.
SCSO wrotein a Facebook post that the suspect, Bobby Roberts, "thought it was a smart idea to entice children to get inside his vehicle by offering them candy."
The department added that when authorities made contact with Roberts' vehicle, he fled law enforcement.
The Sheriff's Office asks for any information from the public regarding Roberts' whereabouts. Those with information may reach SCSO at 912-564-2013.
