SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- Senior Citizens, Inc. (SCI) kicks off its 20th annual Blanket Drive today. This drive collects new blankets to help older adults without adequate heating stay warn during the colder months.
You can donate at the SCI office at 3025 Bull Street in Savannah, Ga.
The blanket drive will continue through February 24, 2025. Cash donations will also be accepted to help purchase blankets. You can make a donation here.
To qualify for a blanket, you must be 65 years or older with a lower income. Photo ID and proof of income are required. Apply in person at the SCI office or call 912-236-0363 for more information.
